Two golds and one silver for ‘Xomi’ at the XVIII Olympics for Police and Firefighters in Sichuan, China

The mayor of Benidorm, Toni Pérez, has received the athlete from Benidorm in the Town Hall, a firefighter of the Marina Baixa Regional Park, Domingo Seguí, 'Xomi', who has participated in the XVIII Olympics for Police and Firefighters, held in the city of Chengdu, capital of Sichuan Province, China.

In this international competition that is held every two years, more than 20,000 athletes from all over the world have participated. The one in Benidorm has won three medals: Gold in Individual with Full Intervention Team, gold in Individual with Shorts, and silver for Teams in Shorts.

Together with the mayor, they have been present at the reception and congratulated ‘Xomi’, the Councilor for Sports, Mariló Cebreros and the Social Welfare, Ángela Llorca, a relative of Seguí.
