This morning Jovempa Marina Baixa has held its extraordinary assembly at Oscar Esplá Auditorium of Parque de l’Aigüera in Benidorm, during which the presidency was replaced; Ramón Soriano has taken over from Josep Llorca.
They have attended it, together with the members of Jovempa Marina Baixa, mayors and representatives of the region and the province, together with the provincial management of the association, the deputy to the General Courts Agustín Almodóvar, and the general director of Tourism of the Generalitat, Herik Campos. In the course of it, the presidents have recognized the embryonic association of Young Tourist Entrepreneurs of Benidorm since 1993, integrated since 2013 as Jovempa Marina Baixa and incardinated in the provincial structure.
After the words of the president of the Provincial Council, Carlos Mazón, signifying the "provincial honor of having such a young business force", the mayor of Benidorm, Toni Pérez, congratulated the incoming and outgoing presidents, recalling the beginnings of the association focused on Tourism, its evolution over time and regional projection, to conclude by highlighting the management of the outgoing president "in one of the most difficult moments" that he has had to manage, such as the one generated by the pandemic.
Pérez has indicated that "Jovempa has fulfilled its commitments in this time" and "is renewed and there is a team." The mayor of Benidorm has highlighted that at this time "the important thing is to add for the recovery" and launching a message of optimism and confidence in the future congratulating, in general, "young entrepreneurs who take risks and assume the responsibility of creating jobs, and to create wealth and redistribute it ”.
In the Assembly he has also given an account of the economic and management reports of the association.
