Ten young people from Benidorm are receiving training in an automotive bodywork and painting course organised by Benidorm City Council's Youth Department. The course aims to provide participants with new skills to improve their employability. Councillor Ana Soliveres visited the workshop where the training is taking place to greet the participants and hear their feedback on the program, which is being offered in collaboration with the local company Pérez Pascual S.L.
Soliveres noted that the course consists of 40 hours of practical instruction and began on Monday, November 24th, and will run until December 5th, from Monday to Friday, 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. He also pointed out that “once they complete these 40 hours, all participants will receive a certificate attesting to the knowledge they have acquired, enabling them to work in a sector that currently boasts high employability. We are confident that this will help them enter the job market under the best possible conditions.”
The course content is structured as follows: Introduction to bodywork; inspection and diagnostics; sheet metal repair techniques; painting and finishing; final assembly and inspection; sustainability and best practices; and final evaluation and hands-on practice.
