In 2015, the UN approved the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, which has 17 Objectives that pursue both the sustainability of actions for the protection of the planet and ensuring prosperity for all as part of a new future development agenda, where Tourism has many interactions and matching goals. Benidorm City Council is firmly and decisively involved in the maximum application of these 17 objectives to its five development axes that emanate from the DTI Master Plan, involving citizenship and socio-economic activities in the process.
