With the plan subsidized by LABORA, the City Council has hired 10 unemployed people over 30 years old

Participants of EMCORP program carry out accessibility actions in Els Tolls and El Rincón

Participantes del programa EMCORP realizan actuaciones de accesibilidad en Els Tolls y el Rincón

Participants of EMCORP - Social Initiative Program of the Valencian Employment and Training Service (LABORA) - are carrying out accessibility actions in the neighborhoods of Els Tolls and Rincón de Loix. Under the supervision of the municipal technical services, five second-rate officers are now making recesses on sidewalks in different parts of Els Tolls, thus improving the pedestrian itineraries of the neighborhood.

The Councilor for Employment, Mónica Gómez, recalled that “with this Social Initiative program, the employment of unemployed people over 30 years of age are favored, while they carry out works and services of general interest and public utility for Benidorm”.

Gómez has indicated that through EMCORP the contract of these five second skilled workers has been formalized; two bricklayers that will carry out maintenance tasks in municipal offices; and an architect, a technical architect and a technical engineer in public works, who will be attached to the areas of Architecture and Engineering.

For the development of this program, subsidized by LABORA with funds from SEPE (State Public Employment Service), the City Council has received 101,586.94 euros. The ten program participants joined their positions in early December and will serve for a period of six months.
