The second edition of Cross Country Doble Amor Center ’is held on February 9

Next Sunday, February 9, the second edition of the Cross Country ‘Doble Amor Center’ will be held, starting at 9 am, in the trail zone of Salt de l’Aigua educational zone. Test organized by Grupo Brotons with the collaboration of the Department of Sports and Benidorm Athletics Club. This has been announced today by the councilor of the area, Mariló Cebreros, at a press conference attended by Pepe Bortons, of the organizing company; José Manuel López, representative of Doble Amor; and Manolo Martínez, president of Benidorm Athletics Club.

Cebreros said that the test "will be scoring for the Costa Blanca Running League" in three categories: female, with a distance of 5,160 meters; male, with 8,400; and children, from 640 to 2,390 meters. It also has the Senderista categories, whose participants can come accompanied by their pets, and Nordic Walking.

The councillor encouraged neighbors and visitors to participate to enjoy "the practice of sport" and "even more" because it is a "solidarity event for the benefit of Doble Amor Association", 100% of the registration will be for the entity.

As an incentive, on the part of the organization “all students of the schools of Benidorm - Cebreros added - will be able to register for the cross for free”. Students will only have to fill in the registration form that, in the form of a brochure, " the municipal technicians will delivered in all schools in the city."

José Manuel López thanked on behalf of the association “the involvement and solidarity” of the organizers and the athletes in a competition that hopes to improve the participation and collection data of the previous edition. For his part, Manolo Martínez said of the circuit that "it will be very fast" despite the fact that "technically it is very simple". Finally, José Brotons, marked as a challenge to overcome the collection of the previous year that amounted to 4,125 euros "whole amount for Doble Amor."
