Radio Benidorm SER recognizes the city on the station's 40th anniversary
Radio Benidorm SER recognized the city yesterday during the commemoration gala of its 40th anniversary. On behalf of the city, the mayor, Toni Pérez, received this recognition from Baldomero Giménez, director of Radio Benidorm SER. An acknowledgment with which the station thanked the city for the welcome it was given 40 decades ago, a time when Benidorm had "probably a third of the population" that it now treasures but that keeps its hospitality intact, as Toni Pérez highlighted yesterday.
During the commemorative gala of this anniversary, the I Radio Benidorm SER Awards were also delivered with which the station "wants to give back what the city and the region have done for it and, above all, highlight those who have stood out in their change in these 40 years”. Among the winners in this first edition of the awards was the manager of Visit Benidorm, Leire Bilbao. The mayor was in charge of presenting him with this award.
The rest of the winners were: Nuria Montes, general secretary of Hosbec –who received the award from the first deputy mayor of Benidorm, Ana Pellicer-; the Servigroup hotel chain; the Recreational Cultural Association 'La Barqueta'; IMED Levante and Hospital Clínica Benidorm health centers; Benidorm Palace nightclub; the l'Alfàs Film Festival; Castell de l'Olla de Altea; Value Chocolates; Cala de Finestrat Beach Volleyball Tournament; and La Nucía-Mediterranean Rally.
