'Pura Cuba', a journey to the Caribbean island through the lens of the photographer Toni Elvar in the Espai d'Art

The mayor of Benidorm, Toni Pérez and the mayor of Alfàs del Pi, Vicente Arques, has attended this morning to the inauguration of the exhibition 'Pura Cuba', by the photographer from Alfàs del Pi Toni Elvar, in the Espai d'Art of the Town Hall . The event was also attended by the mayor of Culture, Ana Pellicer, and representatives of the different municipal groups.

'Pura Cuba' condenses in twenty snapshots the experience of Elvar on the Caribbean island, far from the traditional tourist destinations: the unknown Cuba that can be discovered in La Havana and the city of Trinidad. The photographer, armed with a Canon 6D and a compact Fuji X100 transmits the essence of an island that can be visited in the Espai d'Art until February 2, 2017.
