The POMB is organizing a course on how to 'Start a Business with a Rural Identity'
The Marina Baixa Employment Pact (POMB), a program funded by LABORA and SEPE, is organising the course “Entrepreneurship with a Rural Identity” during November. This training program is aimed at entrepreneurs and those wishing to launch a business project in rural areas.
The course, taught by Formación Evolution, will address key issues for starting a business, such as the process of registering as self-employed or creating a company, financing options, product and brand development, and digital marketing strategies adapted to the rural context.
The sessions will be held in three municipalities of Marina Baixa region:
• Tárbena, on November 10 and 11
• Benimantell, on November 20 and 21
• Relleu, on November 27 and 28
With this initiative, the POMB (Marina Baixa Business Promotion Plan) reinforces its commitment to promoting entrepreneurship and the creation of viable and innovative businesses in the region, especially in smaller municipalities where technical support and advice are most needed.
The president of the POMB, Mónica Gómez, emphasised that “Marina Baixa Employment Pact works daily to improve the employability of the population and strengthen the regional business fabric. We are committed to promoting the creation of companies with a future, especially in the smaller municipalities, where the support of the POMB's technical staff is essential to transforming an idea into a real project.”
For his part, the Vice President of POMB, Jose Manuel Andreu, pointed out that “rural areas offer great opportunities for entrepreneurship today. The local economy, personal relationships between shopkeepers and customers, and the strength of a brand linked to the territory are increasingly valuable. Furthermore, there are a growing number of public programs and funds, especially European ones, that support the financing of business initiatives in rural areas.”
The “Entrepreneurship with a Rural Identity” course is part of the activities of the Marina Baixa Employment Pact, aimed at promoting employability, entrepreneurship, and economic development in the region, with the support of local and regional governments.
