The plenary session awards the park and gardens contract

All councilors present support the regulation that will regulate the hourly control of public employees

The full body of the corporation has awarded today the contract for maintenance of parks and gardens for the next four years, in a session that also has approved the regulation that will regulate the hourly control and presence of workers of the City Council .

The proposal of the Councilor for Contracting, Lourdes Caselles, to award the contract for Parks and Gardens to the company 'Actúa, Servicios y Medio Ambiente SL' has received the support of the government of PP and Citizens for Benidorm (CBM), PSOE, Of the group of Citizens (Cs), and the edil not attached. Liberales de Benidorm (LiBE), for its part, has opted for abstention; while Compromís-Los Verdes has voted against this award.

The contract was awarded in a special extraordinary plenary session summoned by the mayor, Toni Pérez, on the proposal of the four opposition groups that left on the table last Monday with their vote this and other items on the agenda of the ordinary plenary of the month June: PSOE, Cs, LiBE and Compromís-Los Verdes.

Actúa's offer was the one that obtained the highest score in the Recruitment Table, in accordance with the specifications drawn up by the municipal technicians and in which most of the allegations presented by the political groups are collected.

The spokesman of the municipal group of PP, José Ramón González de Zárate, has indicated that this contract includes the green zones that soon will be of municipal management like Foietes Park, and has related part of the improvements offered by the company adjudicated. He also recalled that the specifications included the subrogation of the workforce of the hitherto concessionaire.

The present unanimously gave green light to the proposal of the director of Human Resources, Jesús Carboles, to approve initially the Regulation of time control and presence of public employees of the City Hall. The spokesman of the municipal group of the PP recalled that this regulation has been agreed with the representatives of the workers in the General Bureau of Negotiation and approved by "four of the five trade union with representation in the City Hall have endorsed the document."

The regulation, which contains most of the allegations submitted by the unions, and broadly marks the obligation to sign on and off the job and at the time of rest. In addition, it contemplates an hourly flexibility to reconcile work and family life. In total, 24 fingerprint reading devices have been installed in the most important municipal public buildings.
