Penya Bavallons has organized for the next April 14 at Benidorm Circus a new edition of the 'Bavallons Comedy', a night of monologues that has the collaboration of the Department of Culture. The Councilor for Culture, Ana Pellicer, and Paco Cano and Juanma Rodríguez, representing Penya Bavallons, have presented the fourth edition of this activity that will feature three great monologuists: Kalderas, Raquel Sastre and Txabi Franquesa.
Pellicer indicated that after four editions 'Bavallons Comedy' is already "a classic" and thanked the organizers who "have been good to continue this evening of monologues." It has also encouraged the public "to join us in a night of laughter and assured laughter" and also aims to raise funds for the next Major Festivities of Benidorm.
Cano, meanwhile, explained that "this edition of 'Bavallons Comedy' coincides with the 25th anniversary of the club "and hence" we wanted to raise a bit the cache of monologuistas".
Kalderas, with more than 130 performances per year in different venues and theaters nationwide, arrives at 'Bavallons Comedy' with his show 'Bienvenidos a mi tontunas'. On the other hand, Raquel Sastre has been a scriptwriter of "El Hormiguero" and collaborator in the radio program "Yu" of Los 40 principales, as well as a tertuliana in Futboleros, and she is also a monologist with a long history of performances in our country. Finally, Txabi Franquesa is an actor, comedian, scriptwriter, musician and monologist. On television he has participated in The Comedy Club, Ilustres Ignorantes de Movistar + and in the Tips program of La2 of TVE. He co-directs and represents several plays, among them he has been master of ceremonies of TheHole 2, and in cinema we have been able to see him in 8 Catalan surnames.
