30 October 2019
El Campeonato Nacional de Dardos Electrónicos vuelve un año más al Palau d’Esports l’Illa de Benidorm

This morning the 39th National Electronic Darts Championship has been presented at the Town Hall of Benidorm, which this year celebrates its tenth edition in Benidorm and starts tomorrow Thursday, October 31, until Sunday at  Palau d'Esports l'Illa in Benidorm.

The Councilor for Sports, Mariló Cebreros, has presented this event accompanied by the general director of Bullshooter Dard Federation, Rafael García, and the director of the event, Agustín Romero.

Mariló Cebreros stressed that this event "will bring together more than 5,000 participants from 670 teams that will represent 14 autonomous communities", which also "is an important revulsion for sports tourism, since it will involve about 35,000 overnight stays in our city."

Rafael García has praised the "excellent facilities and the good reception that Benidorm gives us every year" to celebrate a championship as massive as this. He also said that “its continuity in Benidorm is largely thanks to the support we always receive from the Department of Sports. That is why I want to announce that in the next month of June, the city will host European Electronic Darts Championship 2020 ”.

In the National Championship all those teams classified by categories in ranking obtained in their respective zone leagues participate, having 4 levels in the male category and 2 in the female category, highlighting the Male Master and Female Master tournament, whose winners will receive as a prize a trip of Ten days to visit and compete in the US World Cups.

As explained by the sporting director of the event, Agustín Romero, there will also be an International Team Championship where representatives from Germany, Austria and France, among others, will participate and will be held on Saturday, November 2.

Finally, the National Electronic Darts Championship will also be open to the public, regardless of their level, and which aims to bring this sport to all citizens, playing an Individual Open on Thursday, October 31.
