La escritora benidormense Mercedes Albert presenta ‘Equilibrio’, la última entrega de la saga ‘Ataraxia’

The writer Mercedes Albert presented last Friday 'Equilibrio', the latest installment of the science-fiction and fantasy saga 'Ataraxia', a dystopia set in 2526 and which has aroused the interest of readers of other powerful trilogies internationally as 'Divergent' or 'The Hunger Games'.

El Torrejó Municipal Center was filled to accompany Albert in a presentation attended by, among others, the mayor, Toni Pérez; the councilor of Culture, Ana Pellicer; the councillor of Employment and Local Development, Mª Jesús Pinto; and representatives of festive and civic entities of Benidorm.

The writer was accompanied in the presentation by her editor, Verónica Martínez from Group Edition World; by the secretary of Youth Benidorm, Rodrigo Quesada; and by Yolanda Marcos, secretary of the House of Castilla-La Mancha of Benidorm and the region. During the presentation, Veronica Martínez announced that there is "a firm project to bring the trilogy of 'Ataraxia' to the cinema",

Albert was thrilled by the welcome he has had the presentation of 'Equilibrio' in his city, which said that "never left me alone" in this literary adventure that began three years ago with the publication of 'Ataraxia' , which was followed by the second installment of the saga: 'Kaos'. The writer affirmed that this reception and the interest to take her futuristic trilogy to the audiovisual are "the reward for three years of work", and she thanked "the bet" that publishers and the public have made for her work.

'Equilibrio' is in the process of promotion and is now on sale in the main bookstores in the country. Several educational centers of the Marina Baixa have already incorporated the reading of 'Ataraxia' into their teaching programs.
