The mayor of Benidorm is committed to innovation at the service of citizens

The mayor of Benidorm, Toni Pérez, has inaugurated this morning the Forum Territorios Innovadores y Competitivos organized by Xarxa Valenciana de Ciutats per la Innovació at the Asia Gardens hotel in Benidorm. Toni Pérez stressed that "innovation is the way" and "a commitment that should not be left in words but in actions and actions at the service of the residents of our cities. The mayor, who was accompanied by the Councilor for New Technologies, Lourdes Caselles, also recalled in his welcoming words, that Benidorm is already implementing the philosophy of smartcity to become the first Smart Tourist Destination in the world, applying and creating a series of services that rest on four fundamental axes: innovation, technology, accessibility and sustainability.
Next to the mayor of Benidorm, at the opening ceremony José Benlloch, president of Xarxa Valenciana de Ciutats per la Innovació, Andrés García Reche, executive vice president of the Valencian Agency of Innovation (AVI) and Vicent Soler Marco, Minister of Finance and councillor of Economic Model.
