Las ‘Paralimpiadas inclusivas’ de Asmibe, en la 2ª jornada conmemorativa por el  Día Internacional de las Personas con Discapacidad

Students from the Asmibe workshops, AFEM Marina Baixa, and the training cycles of the Community Services branch of the IES La Malladeta de la Vila Joiosa have participated today in the 'Inclusive Paralympics', the central activity of the second commemorative day for the International Day of People with Disabilities.

Although this anniversary is celebrated on Sunday, the 3rd, from Asmibe, with the collaboration of the Department of Social Welfare, several previous activities have been scheduled, such as these 'Inclusive Paralympics' that have been developed in the 'Pepa Esperanza' municipal center. Llinares Llorca' and during the morning the students of the two entities and the IES have shared games.

The councilor of the area, Ángela Zaragozí, and members of the municipal Corporation participated in the presentation of medals to all participants.

The commemorative events will continue on Saturday with a charity and social meal at 2:00 p.m. in Teulada. On Sunday, International Day of People with Disabilities will begin at 10:00 a.m. with the XXII Winter Craft Market between Martínez Alejos and Gambo streets, in which associations and centers for people with functional diversity in the province participate. At noon the protest manifesto will be read.

The events end next Tuesday with a convivence day at the IES Marcos Zaragoza in La Vila Joiosa aimed at 1st-year ESO students who will experience the difficulties encountered by people who use wheelchairs or are deprived of vision.
