Six theatrical pieces of fifteen minutes will be performed in different passes today Friday and tomorrow Saturday

The II Microteatro Festival of Benidorm begins in l'Hort de Colón

26 April 2019
Comienza el II Festival de Microteatro de Benidorm en l’Hort de Colón

The Microteatro Festival of Benidorm, organized with the collaboration of the Department of Culture, celebrates today Friday and Saturday its second edition, with the representation in l'Hort de Colón of six theatrical pieces of no more than fifteen minutes long. The programming, made up of different passes throughout the two days, allows the election, the order and the day to enjoy them.

With a price per pass of five euros, the Councilor for Culture, Ana Pellicer, stressed that "they are a Friday and Saturday to enjoy in a place as special as l'Hort de Colón with comedies, dramas and musicals that we can live with protagonists very close, almost touching us ", and has encouraged the public to buy the tickets that are still available.

Microteatro comes from the hand of the promoter Miguel Ángel Fernández, and with the collaboration of the director of Benidorm theater, Manuel Troncoso, who will direct 'Bla bla dad', interpreted by local artists Olga Reinoso and Álvaro Crivillés. In addition to 'Bla bla dad' the pieces 'Ego te absolvo' will be interpreted, with Juan Meseguer and Axel Novo; Fine Necrophilia, performed by María Kaltembacher and Javier Sáez, 'Psycho meetic (I'll get you here, I'll kill you here), with Patricia Jordà and Nicolás Gaude; 'Espejito, espejito', with Estefanía Rocamora and Julián Salguero; and 'The girl in the glove', with Raquel Pardos, Verónica Mey and Manuel Tiedra.

Miguel Ángel Fernández already announced in the press presentation of the contest that this year's Festival "has won in seriousness and variety." The contest preserves the musical 'micro' but this year it covers other genres that will take the audience to suspense, romantic comedy or the 'thriler'. Tickets are available for sale in the same Hort de Colón.
