The I Travesía Levante is joined the sport calendar of Benidorm

La I Travesía Playa de Levante se incorpora al calendario deportivo de Benidorm

The test will have a circular circuit of 3,500 meters and a maximum of 120 swimmers will participate

Next Sunday, July 16, from 9:00 am, I will take place the I Travesía Playa de Levante, organized by the Sports Club Finisher and Benidorm City Hall. This was announced this morning, at a press conference, the Councilor for Sports, Arturo Cabrillo, along with members of the club, Miguel Angel Martín and Fabian Villena.

Cabrillo said that the departure and arrival "will be carried out from the beginning of the beach of Levante, next to the square of Torrejó, in a circular circuit of 3,500 meters" that will run along the whole beach. The mayor said that a "maximum number of 120 swimmers" could participate in two "absolute categories: male and female" and with ages between 18 and over.

Miguel Ángel Martín, president of Finisher, thanked the involvement of the Council in promoting a test that "aims to consolidate" and that bet "swimmers" because "we are all swimmers." Martín has also announced that the organization "has prepared the swimmer's bag with many gifts" as a t-shirt, or a commemorative towel. In addition will be drawn gifts, details of the collaborating companies.

Finally, Fabian Villena, recalled that the Finisher Sports Club is an entity that groups athletes from different disciplines but "fundamentally swimming, running and cycling" are "triathlon competitors" and the club has finally decided To locate its headquarters in Benidorm with the objective of "participating in all kinds of sports activities" held in the city so that its sports offer is "a reference to what Benidorm can mean in the overall sport environment."
