The Local Government Board yesterday approved an expenditure of 48,399.96 euros to carry out improvement works in the municipal facilities of Mercasa, in the area of Foietes, specifically in the premises that use the Municipal Technical Services, the Association of Drums and Cornets, and the Cycling Union.
The councilman of Culture, Ana Pellicer, has reported that these works "improvement and conservation will consist of repairing and waterproofing the roof, update electrical installation, and painting work, both outside and inside the buildings ", Including the toilets and terraces. In addition, 'LED' type luminaires will be installed.
Pellicer explained that "both the municipal technical services and these associations had requested these improvement and conservation works" that "will last for a few weeks". After them, "collaboration agreements will be signed" with the Local Association of Drums and Bugles and with the Cycling Union so that they can continue using these municipal offices "to develop their activity".
