The Festa de Sant Roc in Benidorm celebrates its main day today

The Comissió de la Festa de Sant Roc, chaired by Vicenta Asensio, celebrates its big day today, August 16, in a day with activities for all audiences organized by the residents of this central street in the Calvari neighborhood. A festivity that has been celebrated since 26 years ago, a group of neighbors decided to commemorate this deeply rooted celebration in part of the Valencian territory.

At 10.30 in the morning, a mass took place in the church of Sant Jaume i Santa Anna, which was attended by the Councilor for Fiestas, Mariló Cebreros, members of the municipal corporation, and representatives of the Comissió. Tonight, at 9:30 p.m., the traditional aperitive will take place and this day dedicated to the patron saint of dogs and against diseases will culminate.
