This Initial Strategic Document includes the proposal of the UAI for the development and urbanization of Armanello and has been drafted according to the bases of approach that were developed by the City Council in July 2017, and which were prepared by the areas of Architecture, Engineering and Legal Services of Urbanism.
In view of the reports issued by the municipal architect and the technician of Legal Affairs of Urbanism, the mayor has signed a decree to forward the aforementioned Strategic Initial Document to the Territorial Urban Planning Service so that the Strategic Environmental Assessment Commission of Plans and Programs, and the Directorate General of Natural Environment and Environmental Assessment of the Ministry study the proposal and check whether it "fits all territorial plans that affect the sector."
In addition to the Strategic Initial Document, a draft of the approved planning bases will also be sent.
The Councilor for Urban Development, Lourdes Caselles, has indicated that "once the Conselleria is pronounced, it will be necessary to modify the document based on what the environmental report marks, and then proceed with the drafting of the partial plan that will regulate the development of this sector. " Caselles added that "with the referral of this Strategic Initial Document, Armanello Plan is progressing, the most important in terms of the area of those foreseen in the General Plan pending execution".
