Benidorm City Council, through the Department of Commerce, has decided to extend the period of celebration of ‘Les Nits del Castell’ due to the great success obtained and the high demand from visitors and residents of the city and nearby towns. This has been conveyed by the councillor of the department, Javier Jordá, who has recalled that ‘Les Nits del Castell’ is made up of “a display of crafts and workshops that is set up in a space as emblematic as the Castell to liven up the evenings in the historic centre” of the city.

The councillor has recalled that this edition of ‘Les Nits del Castell’ began in July and was initially scheduled to end on 30 September, “but the period of celebration will be extended until 3 November, thus allowing more people to enjoy the talent and creativity of the craftsmen and artists”.

“This craft show – Javier Jordá pointed out – has become an annual tradition in Castelar and de la Senyoria squares and it offers items such as sterling silver and precious stone jewellery, costume jewellery, cold porcelain ornaments, pendants, handmade soaps, beads or handmade toys as well as portrait painters, caricaturists… In short, artists will be allowed to continue showing their art for another month”, he added.

Finally, the councillor has invited “Benidorm residents and visitors to take advantage of this additional opportunity to discover unique pieces, supporting local artisans and artists and enjoying the atmosphere”.
