The classic guitar of Hugo Geller shines in the second of 2017 concerts

La guitarra clásica de Hugo Geller brilla en el segundo de los grandes recitales 2017

This evening, the second of the concerts of 'Grandes Recitales 2017' cycle, organized by the Department of Culture in collaboration with the Municipal Professional Conservatory of Music 'José Pérez Barceló' and the Provincial Council of Alicante, was held in the Auditorium of Benidorm City Hall.

This time the turn was for the Argentine guitarist, naturalized Spanish, Hugo Geller who after the first chords enraged the audience that filled the hall with a selection of pieces signed by Dionisio Aguado, Maximo Diego Pujol, Astor Piazzola, Mauro Giuliani, Walter Heinze, Ariel Ramirez, Leo Brouwer and Alberto Ginastera.

Hugo Geller studied his first musical studies in the School of Music of Paraná, where he was born, in Argentina, training that continued in the National Conservatory of Music of Buenos Aires. Since 1989 he has been living in Spain, where he has developed a musical career full of international success. At present, he combines his activity as a concert performer with that of teacher, as Professor of Guitar at the Conservatory of Music of Salamanca.

Next Friday, and at the same time, the 'Grandes Recitales 2017' will continue with the performance of Víctor Díaz (clarinet) and José M. Villegas (piano). It is necessary to remember that the entrance is free until completing the capacity of the Hall.
