Boca del Calvari hosts the exhibition of oils and watercolors by Miguel Ribes Sogorb
The mayor of Benidorm, Toni Pérez, has inaugurated this evening the exhibition of the artist Miguel Ribes Sogorb, a large collection of oils and watercolors that will be exposed in Boca Calvari Museum
A retrospective exhibition that shows the evolution and trajectory of the painter in the art world with over one hundred works and where visitors will see the first sketches of the 50s, brown paper and sketches murals, including the consistory of A Coruña as well as oils, watercolors or drawings.
The inauguration was also attended by a broad representation of members of the municipal corporation, headed by the councilor of the area Ana Pellicer.
Miguel Ribes Sogorb was born in Alicante in 1942, studied at the School of Arts and Crafts in Alicante. His paintings, made indiscriminately both in oil and watercolor, are based primarily on a figurative style where he shows seascapes and landscapes of the region. His first exhibition took place in Bilbao in 1977.
