The City Council is preparing a spectacular show with guest artists, four giant screens, and gifts and surprises for attendees
Benidorm will broadcast the FIFA World Cup Final on the giant screens of Skyfest, with a capacity of up to 17,000 people
The celebration of next Sunday’s FIFA World Cup Final, featuring the Spanish national team, will become a major spectacle in Benidorm. The Department of Events has announced today that the match will be shown on the giant screens installed at the Skyfest venue, where fans can enjoy a day packed with entertainment, fun, surprises and special guest performers leading up to the highly anticipated kick-off.
The main reason for organising the event is to accommodate up to 17,000 spectators, according to Benidorm's Councillor for Events, Jesús Carrobles. “We want as many residents, football fans and visitors as possible to enjoy what we hope will be a historic day for our national team,” he said.
The event is being organised jointly by Benidorm City Council and the Skyfest organisers with the collaboration of Benidorm C.F., Los40, Comissió de Festes Majors Patronals and RTVE (Spanish Radio and Television Corporation).
For the occasion, four giant screens will be installed throughout the venue, ensuring that spectators can watch the match from any location inside the festival grounds. The Skyfest gates will open at 6:00 p.m., and to keep the atmosphere lively before kick-off, several guest artists have already been confirmed, with additional performances still possible.
Confirmed performers include Atyat, Ku Minerva, Dani J and Rosalinda, all of whom have taken part in Benidorm Fest. The event will be hosted by television presenter Quique Jiménez, better known as “Torito”.
The venue will feature bars, food trucks and catering stalls, all of which will be open from the moment attendees arrive. Organisers have also announced that there will be giveaways throughout the afternoon, along with plenty of surprises for everyone attending.
