Benidorm renews the Qualitur flags on its three beaches and two small bays
One more year, the beaches of Levante, Poniente and Mal Pas, and the small bays of l'Almadrava and Ti Ximo have renewed their Qualitur flags, an award that certifies excellence in terms of quality, environment and accessibility.
The head of the municipal area of Beaches, Mónica Gomez, has collected today at the Tourism Center (CdT) of Castellón the flags from the hands of the President of the Generalitat, Ximo Puig, in an act in which the regional secretary of Tourism, Francesc Colomer has also present.
After the act, Mónica Gómez said it is "a great honor" to collect "on behalf of Benidorm" these Qualitur flags and has reiterated the commitment of the municipal government team to "continue working on the improvement of our beaches for citizens and tourists who visit us, enjoy the quality and a city as hospitable as Benidorm ".
With the Qualitur flags, which are added to the already obtained the blue and Quality Tourism Q flags, Benidorm sees the effort made throughout the year in keeping its waters and sandy areas clean. And also, its commitment to maintain high levels of safety, hygiene, accessibility, services and an attractive leisure offer, which places the beaches and small bays of Benidorm among the best in Spain.
Certification of Qualitur flags is linked to compliance with ISO 9001 and 14001 standards of Quality and Environment. This year they received 176 beaches from 37 municipalities of the Valencian Community.
