Benidorm programs three Christmas craft workshops at Boca del Calvari Museum
The Department of Historical and Cultural Heritage, directed by Ana Pellicer, has scheduled three free Christmas craft workshops at the Boca del Calvari Museum. The workshops will take place on three consecutive Saturdays in December, specifically on the 2nd, 9th, and 16th from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., and each of them is dedicated to a modality: Christmas decorations with macramé, Christmas cards, and floral decorations.
Pellicer has indicated that “after the great reception of the different workshops that we promoted within the 'Estiu al Museu' last summer, we repeat the initiative in these same facilities on such important and endearing dates, giving workshops with a 100% theme. Christmas.”
The councilor highlighted that "when scheduling these workshops we have chosen artisans from Benidorm and surrounding areas, so in addition to expanding the cultural, creative, and leisure offer of our city these days we are also giving visibility to local professionals and of the region.”
Thus, on Saturday the 2nd, La Furona will teach the Christmas decorations with a macramé workshop; On the 9th it will be 'Naranja&Madera' who will be in charge of Christmas cards; while Florísima will be in charge of the Christmas floral decorations workshop on the 16th.
Those interested in participating should send an email with the subject “Nadal al Museu” to the email museobocacalvari@benidorm.org. Places are limited in all workshops and registration and reservation will be made in order of request.
Pellicer has meant that "with this type of activities we further energize our Museum, which is currently also hosting a very interesting exhibition by the photographer Manuel Outumuro."
