Benidorm hosts the start of the 'III Benidorm & Costa Blanca International Poetry Festival'
The mayor of Benidorm, Toni Pérez, and the mayor of Culture, Ana Pellicer, have received this morning the poets invited to the 'III International Festival of Poetry Benidorm & Costa Blanca', which is held from today until October 27 and has scheduled activities in our city and other municipalities of the Marina Baixa.
Directed and organized by the president of Licéo Poético, Julio Pavanetti, and the treasurer of the entity, Annabel Villar, the festival has the presence of internationally renowned poets, with whom poetic, playful and tourist activities will be shared.
This afternoon, at 6:00 p.m., the Auditorium of the City Hall of Benidorm hosts the opening recital of the guest poets, with the participation of the students of IES Mediterrània, IES Pere María Orts and Bosch and the Conservatory of Music. José Pérez Barceló. The guest musicians, Joaquín Boscá (classical guitar) and Marlene Aquino (soprano) will participate.
On Wednesday 24, at 6:00 p.m., the auditorium of José Llorca Linares Social Center also hosts a recital of the guest poets with the participation of Tossal and Catharsis theater groups; with music and dance from the Manchega Tramontana Cultural Association and with the participation of the musician Joaquín Boscá (classical guitar).
Throughout the week, different events are also planned in the towns of Alfaz, Altea and Villajoyosa.
