Benidorm Educational Fair, brings counselling to 4th year of ESO students on their education and future job and this year acquires a regional character
One more year, the students of the 4th year of ESO and beginners of Vocational Training will be able to learn in detail the educational, training, and employment possibilities available to them during the Benidorm Education Fair, organized by the Department and on this occasion acquire a regional character by joining the Territorial Council of Vocational Training of the Marina Baixa. A Fair that will take place this Friday, March 31, in Carrer de Pilota of Palau d'Esports l'Illa and through which more than 1,500 students are expected to attend only during the morning. Students from other educational levels and the general public will be added to them in the afternoon.
The Councilor for Education, Maite Moreno, explained that "this Educational Fair serves to counsel students and their families on both employment and training options that exist in the region and outside to choose their future, and also to put in contact with the centers, instances or organizations that offer these possibilities, obtaining first-hand all the information and resolving any doubts they may have”.
In addition, attendees will also be able to get counselling and how recognize their professional skills.
It is, therefore, "a support for the task of the counselling departments of the secondary schools in Benidorm and the region".
According to what has been advanced by the Department of Education and the Territorial Council for Vocational Training, the 19 professional families established in the region will show the different training plans offered in the Marina Baixa at the Fair, with exhibitions and practical demonstrations, as well as the different options to choose.
There will also be stands at the Education Fair from public and private universities, the Official School of Languages, the Civil Guard, the National Police, the Local Police, the Ministry of Defense, beauty academies, employment and local promotion agencies, and business and union organizations.
The morning hours of the fair will be from 08:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., for groups of 4th year of ESO and beginners of Vocational Education Training while from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. access will be free.
