With this gesture, the city thanks these professionals for their incessant and tenacious fight against Covid-19
Benidorm dedicates the Christmas tree at the Town Council square to health personnel
On such endearing dates as Christmas, the city of Benidorm has wanted to "pay tribute to the health personnel who incessantly and tenaciously have been fighting the Covid-19 pandemic for eight months." For this reason, "the Christmas tree at the Town Council square has been dedicated to these professionals, probably the most visited, iconic and photographed of all those that settle in the city", as pointed out by the Councilor for Fiestas, Jesús Carrobles.
In addition to three figures representing different health workers, "ornaments with the word 'thank you' in Valencian and Spanish have been placed to convey the recognition and gratitude of citizens to the work that these professionals perform daily."
Carrobles has indicated that "apart from this sincere tribute, the best way for citizens to thank health workers for their work is to continue being responsible and complying with prevention and protection measures against Covid-19."
