Culture allocates 15,000 euros to these grants for local associations
The City Council has created a line of grants, endowed with 15,000 euros, to support activities and cultural projects developed by Benidorm entities. The regulatory bases for these grants were published yesterday in the Official Gazette of the Province (BOP), are directed to the cultural associations of the city that have developed or will develop activities in 2017 - except those that have already received some other subsidy from the Department of Culture, which will choose a maximum amount of 1,000 euros per entity.
The councilor of the area, Ana Pellicer, stated that "after having established grants to recognize the cultural and pedagogical work that our music bands perform through their schools of students, we continue to advance our policy of support and development of cultural projects that bear the seal of Benidorm ".
Pellicer has indicated that "we seek to contribute to our entities maintaining their activities, and even that they can develop some more in any cultural and artistic field, from the theater to the music". The head of Culture has pointed out that "this line of subsidies arises with a vocation of continuity".
The interested entities must be registered in the IAE and must submit, within a maximum period of 20 days, a descriptive and valued report of the project, program or activity for which the grant is requested. They should also provide the annual program of actions and activities planned for the year, and a brief resume or summary and descriptive of the association.
