Benidorm begins the second session of the 'Improve your employability' program 2024

The Employment and Local Promotion Agency of Benidorm City Council has launched the second session of the ‘Improve your employability’ programme which aims to provide participants with resources and tools to increase their chances in the labour market. The Councillor for Employment, Mónica Gómez, welcomed participants in the programme today, which takes place in the municipal library, and once again stressed “the importance of knowing the labour market and the strategies for an effective job search”. She also encouraged them to “develop your strategy, taking into account the importance of the continued effort that it entails”.

The Councillor recalled that this workshop “is very well received and that is why we schedule different calls every year to try to reach as many people as possible”. “There is work, we have a constant stream of offers and what it is about is finding the most suitable one” said Gómez, who encouraged participants to “make the most of this programme because it is a great opportunity”.

This second session of ‘Improve your employability’, also taught by the counsellor Vigela Lloret, is held on the 25th, 26th and 27th of this month from 9.30 a.m. to 1.30 p.m. at the Central Library and has 16 participants, as in the first session, who receive training related to the acquisition of techniques for job searching, the preparation of their ‘curriculum vitae’, how to prepare for a job interview or how to obtain information on the labour market.

‘Improve your employability’ is a workshop co-financed by Benidorm City Council and the Provincial Council of Alicante. The Provincial Council grants with 3,140.19 euros and finances 50% of Benidorm Employment and Training Resources Guide 2024 and the ‘Improve your employability 2024’ job guidance workshops.
