Benidorm begins a reinforcement in the cleaning device in neighborhoods for the summer season

Benidorm City Council, through the Department of Street Cleaning, will implement from tomorrow a reinforcement in the cleaning device in neighborhoods that are carried out regularly. These reinforcement tasks are carried out "on the occasion of the summer season and the imminent arrival of tourists and visitors to the city," said the Councilor for Street Cleaning, Luis Navarro, who added that "we want them to have the best possible image of our city ”.

This reinforcement will carry out its work in the afternoon and will last from tomorrow, June 29, from Monday to Friday, until July 31. "We are going to promote cleaning in all the neighborhoods of Benidorm on these dates, starting with the Els Tolls neighborhood, which is the first in which action will be taken," Navarro pointed out.

For this, there will be additional resources. Among the first, there will be a sweeper, a pressure washer, a blower, and an open-box porter. As for the human resources that will be added, there will be a sweeper driver, a pressure washer driver, a laborer driver, and another person in charge of the blower.

In addition, there will be another laborer driver and an open box porter for collection work and support for the brigade that is in charge of cleaning litter bins, abandoned or thrown objects, etc.
