Benidorm approves the sixth remittance of ‘Paréntesis Aid’, and has already granted € 4.2 million

Benidorm aprueba la sexta remesa de ‘Ayudas Paréntesis’, y ya ha concedido 4’2 millones de euros

The Local Government Board (JGL) of Benidorm has approved a new remittance of aid for the second call of Paréntesis Plan (Resistir plan) for an amount of 250,971.28 euros, as explained by the Councilor for Employment, Mónica Gómez .
The amount of these grants, co-financed by the City Council, Alicante Provincial Council and the Generalitat Valenciana, amounts to 2,000 euros, to which is added another 200 euros 'extra' for each employee who is registered on the 31st of December.
101 companies and professionals of the city will benefit of this remittance, which can already be consulted on the Notice Board of the municipal website.
With this, the City Council has already approved “six remittances of aid for this second call, with which the amount granted rises to 4,214,746, 23 euros to more than 1,800 companies and professionals in the city from numerous sectors affected by the pandemic ”said the mayor.
Among the measures promoted to favor access to these grants, the City Council has launched two calls, "expanding the beneficiary sectors and activities and extending the application deadlines to give companies and the self-employed a longer period".
The councilor has once again emphasized that Benidorm City Council works so that these 'Parenthesis Aids' reach "the largest possible number of professionals and companies", since the bases of the call, drawn up by the Generalitat Valenciana, "left out an important part of the productive fabric of Benidorm that, fundamentally due to having more than 10 workers, could not attend these calls ”.
