Benidorm also announces with the "chupinazo" the festivities of San Fermin from Paseo de Levante

The popular 'chupinazo' that announces the beginning of the fiestas of San Fermín has been launched this midday, as the tradition dictates, from Levante beach. In this way, Benidorm is joined by another year this festival, organized by the Tamboril Group with the collaboration of the City Council, which involves hundreds of residents and tourists.

In charge of lighting the first wick has been the Councilor for Sports and Street Cleaning, Arturo Cabrillo, followed by the councillors Ana Pellicer, Jesús Carrobles, Paquita Ripoll, Juan Balastegui, the Children's Queen of the Festes Majors Patronals , Àngela Antón and the President of the Commission, Antonio Vicente Fuster, among others, under the attentive direction of the manager of the Tamboril, Javier Abinzano.

After the launch of rockets and the "Gora" to San Fermín, the traditional Navarrese melodies and songs have sounded in Paseo de Levante. The celebration will be extended throughout the day among the community of residents from Navarra in Benidorm, neighbors and tourists.
