The ATV Office in Benidorm, among the 26 in the province that have collaborated in the Income Tax
The Valencian Tax Agency (ATV) in Benidorm, which falls under the Department of Finance, Economy and Public Administration of the Generalitat, has been during this 2023 Income campaign one of the 26 headquarters in the province of Alicante and the 68 of the entire Community that has collaborated in the income campaign, providing in-person, free and personalized assistance to taxpayers to be able to prepare their declaration.
The Minister of Finance, Economy and Public Administration, Ruth Merino, visited this office this Monday, coinciding with the last day of the campaign, to take stock of it. A visit in which she has been accompanied, among others, by the mayor of Benidorm, Toni Pérez, the director of the Valencian Tax Agency, Sonia Díaz; the head of the Benidorm Liquidation Office, Ruth Juste; and the regional dean of the College of Registrars of the Valencian Community, Carlos Orts.
Merino explained that without closing the data for this last day, in the province of Alicante more than 4,000 declarations have already been submitted through the services of the Valencian Tax Agency and the liquidation offices, representing an increase of 12.5% compared to the previous year. The councillor attributed this increase to the implementation of more face-to-face service points, which in the case of this province have increased to 26 compared to 9 last season, almost triple.
