Antonio Fuster Juárez presenta ‘Alma de músico’ en la Casa del Fester

Casa del Fester, 'Diego Cano Enguera', has hosted the presentation of the book 'Alma de musico', by Antonio Fuster Juárez, who has been accompanied by the Councilor for Culture and the representative of the Cultural and Recreational Association 'La Barqueta, Jaime Lloret

In the auditorium, completely full, the acting mayor, Ana Pellicer; the Councilor for Fiestas, Jesús Carrobles and members of the municipal corporation were there; the national deputy, Agustín Almodóbar; the president of the Fiestas Commission, Roberto Carretero; the Clubs Association, Coly Pérez; the Queens, Marina Carrillo and Paula Mayor; and of ‘La Barqueta’ Commission, Francisco Llorens, ‘Paco Rosera’.

Before presenting the book, Jaime Jesús Pérez thanked ‘La Barqueta’ “for all the effort and dedication they put in year after year in promoting and preserving our traditions and culture in Benidorm”. The Councilor for Culture highlighted the "traveling experience" of Antonio Fuster Juárez that has led him to visit "more than 60 countries that have allowed him to value more and more the Mediterranean culture of which he feels tremendously excited."

On the author's career, he highlighted the publication, among other works, of three novels: 'Loque sólo el tiempo sabe', 'La sabiduría escondida' and, now, 'Alma de músico' in which “mixes the historical and the customary with the most intense human emotions ”. It is, he stressed, "a story that has three key words for all of us: music, love story and Benidorm."

In his speech, Antonio Fuster Juárez has said that writing a book “is easy, you just have to have an idea. The complicated thing is the 400 pages that go next ”. The author has recognized that ‘Alma de músico’ has meant “three years of work”. A novel "deeply realistic that flirts with the fantastic and the search to transcend life through love and music" and that takes as background the most recent history of our country and, especially of Benidorm.
