Anémona Association visits the mayor of Benidorm after receiving the award from the Professional Health Union of Alicante-UPSANA

Anémona, the Self-Help Group for Women with Breast Cancer of the Marina Baixa, visited the mayor, Toni Pérez, this morning after receiving a special mention on Thursday from the Union Profesional Sanitaria de Alicante-UPSANA. This award has been granted in recognition of the trajectory of their work in favor of women who have suffered or suffer from this pathology, as well as for their contribution to the creation and maintenance of health, care and rehabilitation practices for patients and their families.

The association received this distinction in the category of "social collective", together with the Provincial Association of Alicante of Women with Breast Cancer (APAMM) and the Association of Women Affected by Breast Cancer in Elche and comarca (AMACMEC). The prizes were awarded by the schools of the province of :Doctors, Nurses, Dentists / Stomatologists, Pharmacists, Dietitians / Nutritionists, Physiotherapists, Psychologists and Veterinarians.
