The event, organized by the Football Federation of the Valencian Community with the collaboration of the Department of Sports, has been held since Monday in the municipal facilities of Benidorm (Palau d'Esports and Raúl Mesa pavilion) and neighbouring towns such as La Nucía and l'Alfàs del Pi.

The Sports Councilor, Javier Jordá, and his government colleague, Luis Navarro, have made up the municipal representation, which has also been joined by the councillor and regional deputy, José Ramón González de Zárate. Among the attendees at the Palau, the national futsal coach, Clàudia Pons and a large representation of the territorial federations, accompanied by the president of the Valencian team, Salvador Gomar.

The Andalusian and Madrid teams reached the U-16 final, opening the day at the Palau with a match that ended with a resounding 7-0 scoreline. It should be noted that the Andalusians have only conceded one goal in the entire championship.

Regarding the under-19 teams, Catalonia and the Community of Madrid faced each other. The Catalans found themselves down a goal shortly before the first half. However, with determination and physical strength, they were able to tie shortly before the end of the second half, which forced them to play the mandatory overtime that would end with the same result. Thus, the fate of penalties was reached in which the Madrid team was defeated (4-3) due to an impeccable performance by the Catalan goalkeeper.

At the end of the matches, Salvador Gomar gave Javier Jordá a commemorative souvenir of the day in gratitude for the support received by the City Council in organizing the tournament.
