AEDL launches ‘Benidorm IX’ Employment Workshop in which 20 unemployed people will be hires and trained for 1 year
The Local Employment and Development Agency (AEDL) of the City Council will launch ‘Benidorm IX’ Employment Workshop at the end of December, a program with which 20 unemployed people will be hired and trained for a year. The Councilor for Employment and Local Development, Mónica Gómez, has indicated that "this new edition will be developed in two training modalities 'Auxiliary operations of rigid finishes and urban development' and 'Auxiliary operations of administrative and general services', which include its time 'Pavements and masonry of urbanization' and 'Administrative activities in the relationship with the client' respectively ”.
Gómez explained that "for 12 months the participants in this program will receive theoretical-practical training and will be hired by the City Council." In each of these specialties "10 people will be trained, who in the practical part will provide information and attention to the citizen in municipal offices and will carry out repair work in public spaces, such as Parque de l'Aigüera".
This program has a grant of 480,412.80 euros from LABORA, while the City Council contributes 55,000 euros. In total, the endowment for ‘Benidorm IX’ Employment Workshop amounts to 535,412.80 euros.
The Councilor for Employment and Local Development recalled that "there are now eight editions of this type of program that have been completed and that have served to improve the employability of the participants, who have increased and diversified their skills and knowledge in different specialties”.
Unemployed people interested in participating as students / workers of the 'Benidorm IX' workshop should contact LABORA Office of the city on 965 85 01 88 and request their registration indicating the training specialty and the corresponding code: 'Auxiliary operations of rigid finishes and urban development '(code: EOCB0209) or' Auxiliary operations of administrative and general services (code: ADGG0408).
Likewise, the process will begin to hire the management and teaching staff who will be in charge of the training part of the program: 1 director; 1 teacher of the Masonry specialty; 1 teacher of the Administrative specialty; 1 support teacher; 1 administrative assistant and a teacher of Occupational Risk Prevention.
