Around 350 judokas from 47 countries on five continents gathered from last Tuesday until Saturday afternoon in Benidorm to carry out a preparation stage for their participation in the next Olympic Games in Paris, which begin this same month.

The athletes have exercised in the facilities of the Palau d'Esports L'Illa in Benidorm where they have carried out combats and training to arrive in optimal conditions for the Olympic Games. Among them, is the Spanish delegation, with medal options in various modalities. Benidorm, by the way, has become the training place for the elite of this sport for the fifth consecutive year.

The mayor of the city, Toni Pérez, and the Councilor for Sports, Javier Jordá, visited the concentration this morning and took the opportunity to “encourage and wish the greatest success” to all the Spanish representatives who will defend our country at the Olympic event.
