The Association of People with Disabilities of Benidorm and the Region, Asmibe, held this afternoon, in Óscar Esplá auditorium in Parque de l'Aigüera, its twentieth Charity Festival, which had the collaboration of the Departments of Social Welfare and Culture of the townhall. An event could not be concluded due to the rain during the break between the first and second half.

The mayor of Benidorm, Toni Pérez, participated in the evening along with the Councilor for Social Welfare, Ángela Zaragozí and other members of the corporation who thus showed their support for the entity chaired by Mari Fernández. Likewise, they were present at the event as representatives of the different social groups of the city.

The first part of the event featured a theatrical performance of 'La Isla de los sentimientos', an exercise from the Emotional Education Workshop. Then Iker, a student from Selene Roldan Vocal Coach, performed the piece 'Lost on you'. Behind him, Isabella Hernández, from Asmibe, performed 'Chacachá del tren' and 'La Bamba'.  María José Molla Dance School continued with the 'Danza del fuego del Benamor' and after it Guillermo Castellano, from Asmibe, with the interpretation of 'Magia' by Álvaro Soler and 'I Only Think of You' by Víctor Manuel. This first part concluded with the song 'Lose Control' by Elsa from Selene Roldán Vocal Coach.

The second part of the festival was not held due to a storm that hit the city and prevented the event from continuing. However, until that moment the public enjoyed and supported Asmibe at all times, accompanying the musical performances with applause and 'bravos'. A great success, once again, for the association in an auditorium that presented a great entrance, although clouded at the last minute by the rain.
