The Julio Iglesias Auditorium in L'Aigüera Park was filled yesterday afternoon with music, emotion, and shared values for the celebration of Innovacant 2025, an initiative of the Education and Culture Departments of the Benidorm City Council, with the support of the Regional Ministry of Education, Universities, and Employment of the Valencian Government.

The concert, which began at 7:00 p.m., brought together nearly 300 primary school students from the public schools Els Tolls, Vasco Núñez de Balboa, Bautista Lledó, Puig Campana, and Serra d'Aitana, who performed the original cantata "Mans menudes, grans accions" (Small Mans, Great Actions) in a choral and scenic performance, accompanied by the José Pérez Barceló Municipal Music Conservatory Band, conducted by Felip Lanuza.

The work, composed specifically for the 2024-2025 academic year, combines music, dance, and theatre, and conveys fundamental values such as respect, coexistence, the fight against bullying, and environmental stewardship.

Innovacant is the natural evolution of the previous project "l'Escola Canta" (Singing School) and constitutes an educational program that promotes cross-curricular learning through the performing arts, while encouraging the use of Valencian in creative and participatory contexts.

The event was attended by the Councillor for Education, Maite Moreno, and the Councillor for Culture, Jaime Jesús Pérez, as well as other members of the municipal council, who wished to support the educational community on this very special day for the students and their families.
