9 videos promoting traditional trade have been launched and registration is still open

27 traditional shops have already participated in the first month of 'Benidorm fet a mà' campaign

14 March 2018
27 comercios tradicionales han participado ya en el primer mes de ‘Benidorm fet a mà’

The promotion campaign of the traditional trade of the city, 'Benidorm fet a mà', organized by the departments of Commerce and Employment, with the collaboration of the first-year students of the Degree in Marketing and Advertising of the IES Pere Maria Orts i Bosch, takes stock of the first month of recordings of promotional spots of the shops, those that offer personalized service and treatment and in which there is always a person behind the counter.

The councilman of Commerce, Ana Pellicer has made an initial assessment of this experience which she described as "very positive" because, after the visits, videos have been published "that have had about 3,000 views through our social networks: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Facebook. " Up to now, the counciwoman has announced, 27 shops have been filmed and "we will continue to walk the streets of our municipality." Ana Pellicer has invited the traditional shops of the city wishing to participate in 'Benidorm fet a mà' and have not done yet to contact the department where the request will be studied.
Ana Pellicer pointed out that 'Benidorm fet a mà' is a "positive for all" campaign. Positive for the students, "future professionals" because it allows them to "practice in situ" and "through them our business is given a voice"; also for the merchants "because the great trades that we have and their great quality are spread"; and it is also for consumers "because from home, and through social networks" they have access and can know in a very simple way "the great variety of products and services offered by our city".

'Benidorm fet a mà' has already launched from the social networks of the City Council and its multimedia portal (https://benidorm.org/comunicacion/es), 9 videos and will continue to do so as an outpost of what will be a much more global action, coordinated by the students of IES Pere Maria Orts i Bosch, which will have promotional posters in Spanish, Valencian and English and with specific marketing activities in neighborhoods. The next session of video recordings will take place in Mercado de Abril next Wednesday, March 21.
