JOOP - Jove Oportunitat

14 March 2025
JOOP

The Youth department will participate in the Jove Oportunitat (JOOP) program, part of the Valencian Community's European Social Fund Plus (ESF+) program for the 2021-2027 period and managed by the Valencian Youth Institute.

This program is designed to motivate and guide young people between the ages of 16 and 21. Its objective is to help young people who are not studying or do not wish to continue studying or working become active and want to build their own life plans through an intervention that focuses on their motivation, strengthens their self-esteem, and helps them develop their project.

The pedagogical tool used is attitudinal coaching, in groups of up to 15 participants. Participants will be provided with practical guidance on the different professional areas of vocational training, including visiting companies, where they will be shown the real work that each degree leads to, and will be able to discover their vocation.

Young people who have not completed secondary school, JOOP offers an academic training module to prepare for the entrance exam for intermediate-level vocational training.

Sociocultural outings are also offered, combined with orientation. Once the program is complete, they will be offered preparation for the entrance exam for intermediate-level vocational training or the possibility of training tailored to their level.

The program is free for young people and will begin next April and end in mid-July.

More information and registration are available at the Youth Information Center, until March 21.
