XXXVI International Music Course 2025 and XXVI Benidorm Music Competition

The Department of Culture has scheduled the celebration of the XXXVI International Music Course and the XXVI Benidorm Music Competition from June 30 to July 4, 2025. This course will be held in the classrooms of the “José Pérez Barceló” Professional Music Conservatory in Benidorm. 

As in previous editions, the Department of Culture has worked on organizing an International Music Course in which professionals of the highest level will participate.

The course is structured in three parts:

*Music teaching with the presence of 6 teachers of recognized international prestige, the course is attended by students from all over Europe. Oboe, saxophone, marimba, piano, violin and clarinet classes will be taught.

*International competition: On this occasion, the XXVI edition is held and dedicated to the Oboe. An undetermined number of students take part in the competition, and only 3 will reach the final. It is an important way for students to make the most of the course, not only financially, but also with the possibility of including it in their curriculum, taking advantage of the prestige that the competition enjoys.

*The “classics at 9” concert cycle has the objective of allowing the audience to enjoy the performance of great soloists. This part is aimed primarily at people from Benidorm and the region who live or spend their holidays among us. These concerts will take place from June 30 to July 5, 2024, at 9 p.m. in the auditorium of the Cultural Center in which some of the soloists and teachers of the Course will perform, as well as the winner of the Competition, making this cycle one of the most important that can be enjoyed in the Marina Baixa.
