The youngest March in Espai Jove of Benidorm City Council
The Department of Youth has presented today the program of activities of Espai Jove corresponding to the month of March where, for the first time, a workshop on German language practices and lectures on topics of youth interest stands out.
Espai Jove is located on the ground floor of the Town Hall, in the Youth Information Center (ICJ). It proposes activities from Monday to Friday from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and on Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and from 4:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. A municipal area that offers its users a playroom service, Wi-Fi, study room, cinema, talks, video games, handicrafts, monographs, language workshops and meeting place.
The head of the municipal area of Youth, Jaime Jesús Pérez, recalled that the Espai Jove provides “a space” in which “school tasks can be carried out in their study classroom, in which there are monitors that can serve as support and help". A "meeting point" where to meet friends and "get away from the virtual environment", social networks, which also strives to "offer activities that are of maximum interest" for young people.
Among the novelties presented in March, the Councilor for Youth emphasized 'Sprechen Sie Deutsch?', “A German practice workshop” that will take place on Thursdays from 7.30 pm to 9.00 pm and the start of the calendar of informative talks, of which the one with the title 'I am already a father / mother', on Saturday 28, at 12.00 noon, addressed to people facing maternity / paternity and face a new experience in their lives.
Espai Jove reinvents itself month by month to offer the youth of Benidorm activities with which to complement their leisure and training time. In this regard, Jaime Jesús Pérez has announced that the first ‘Traditional Easter Contest’ in Benidorm will be convened in the April program.
