Double exhibition at Boca del Calvari museum for the XXIX New Creators Contest

Doble exposición en el Boca del Calvari con motivo del XXIX Concurso de Nuevos Creadores

The works will remain on display until February 11.

The exhibition with the selected works of the twenty-ninth edition of New Creators Contest can be visited today at Boca del Calvari Museum. The councilor for Youth, Ana Pellicer, has toured for the first time the show accompanied by the councillor of Social Welfare, Angela Llorca, and the companions of the municipal corporation Rubén Martínez and Cristina Escoda.

In this edition, a total of 30 works compete, including sculptures and paintings that will not be alone in Boca del Calvari Museum since the City Council has prepared a double exhibition with the works awarded in the previous 28 calls, on the first and second floors. The works of the present edition are exposed on the ground floor and the basement.

The councillor of Youth has highlighted the quality of the work. "I can talk," he said, "of the great quality or of the magnitude of each of the works, but it is better for anyone who wishes to come closer to see the paintings and sculptures that have participated this year to prove it personally." Pellicer has announced that the winners will be announced on February 9, in the museum and that, as well as the bases, there will also be a special mention to the best work presented by people under 18 years. The amount of prizes in painting and sculpture amounts to 1,000 euros for each category and the awarded works will become part of the municipal heritage.

The works will remain on display until February 11.
