Healthy living through sport of 'Cardio Salud' and crafting leather glasses 'Norris Glasses' best ideas of 2016
The Plenary Hall of Benidorm City Hall was the venue where this morning has awarded prizes of the XII Contest of Enterprising Ideas 2016, organized by the department of Employment with the aim of promoting entrepreneurship, self-employment, and allow the employment of entrepreneurs. The event was attended by the mayor of Benidorm, Toni Pérez and the councilwoman of Employment, María Jesús Pinto who were accompanied by the jury composed of Berenice Laporta, on behalf of the Association of Entrepreneurs Women of the Marina Baixa (Memba); Joaquín Alcázar from the European Business and Innovation Centre (BIC) in Elche; Luis Villacampa, from CaixaBank the promoter entity; José María Portalés from the Valencian Institute of Tourism Technologies (Invat • tur), Guillermo Campos, of the Association of Young Entrepreneurs of the Marina Baixa, Jovempa; Antonio Núñez and José Antonio Núñez de Cela from the Agency for Employment and Local Development (AEDL). The mayor of Benidorm highlighted the value of the prize because "while some people seek security" and the tranquility of a stable job there are those who risk "make their life project a business project. "They are those who take the initiative in society. Pérez believes that all governments must "go hand in hand for entrepreneurs to create businesses, create jobs". For the mayor, the prize delivered today is not the most important, but "keep the idea as a company, progressing, growing and create jobs for others" and emphasized the support for the winners of the different entities that collaborate with Employment in the Ideas Competition, to advise and cooperate so that their initiatives succeed tomorrow. The Employment councilwoman María Jesús Pinto congratulated the winners for their "illusion, commitment and the ability" , "to develop new business concepts and ideas." Pinto was convinced that this award will be the "the first step" to bring them "to get everything they want to achieve."

Second prize for Social Responsibility. Prize of 500 euros for Tania Soler, the project 'Cardio Health', which promotes healthy living through sport and new technologies; Accésit to the Mayor Tourism Promotion. Prize of 500 euros for MiriamYelo, by the 'Benidorm Cooking Experience', a program which proposes workshops of Spanish cuisine aimed at foreign tourists. Second Prize for Best Business Idea. Prize of 1,500 euros and a tablet iPad Mini for Juan Jesús Ruíz, for 'Norris Glasses', a project of handcrafting leather sunglasses. First Prize for the Best Business Idea. Prize of 2,500 euros and iPad tablet for Tania Soler 'Cardio Health' initiative.
