The parish of San Jaime and Santa Ana will host the seven concerts of the cycle, all of them with free admission
The VII International Organ Festival of Benidorm has for the first time women organists

The Parish of San Jaime and Santa Ana will host, throughout the year 2019, the VII International Organ Festival of Benidorm. The concerts will be held on the last Friday of the months of January, February, March, April, May and November, as well as on Saturday, December 21.
The Councilor for Culture, Ana Pellicer, and the professor of the Conservatory of Alicante, Juan Antonio Espinosa, have presented this morning the program for this year 2019, in which the organ teacher Joxe Benantzi has also worked. A program that, as Espinosa highlighted, "counts for the first time with the participation of women organists" and that includes both organ solo concerts and concerts as a chamber instrument.
Pellicer recalled that "all concerts are free", with seating capacity close to 300 people, and that can be made "thanks to the fact that in the Church of Sant Jaume we have an organ of excellent quality". The organ of the parish of San Jaime is the only instrument of these characteristics with three keyboards throughout the province of Alicante.
Espinosa highlighted both "the encouragement and collaboration of the Department of Culture, as well as the good predisposition of the parish to facilitate the programming of this cycle of concerts."
All concerts will be at 8:00 pm, after the religious services on Fridays. On January 25 Gustav Auzinger will play. On February 22, Saskia Roures. On March 29, Adolfo Gutierrez Viejo, organ and Adolfo Gutiérrez Arenas, violoncello. On April 26, Ana Belén García. On May 31, Susana García Lastra, organ and Carlos Navarro Zaragoza, trumpet. On November 29, Miguel Bernal Ripoll, organ and soprano Julia Ruíz. And the Christmas concert will be held on Saturday December 21 by Josep Vicent Giner, organ next to the Coral Group of Benidorm.
