Councilor Nuria Montes says that tourism in Benidorm has been “a source of freedom and a blessing for our economy and society”
The Valencian Community receives the acknowledgement in the Digital Tourist congress
The Digital Tourist Congress that is being held until tomorrow at the Benidorm Cultural Center has recognized the Valencian Community today in an event that took place between the presentations and debate tables that were held this morning.
The president of AMETIC, Pedro Mier, presented the recognition to the Minister of Innovation, Industry, Commerce and Tourism, Nuria Montes, an event in which the city mayor, Toni Pérez, was also present.
Montes pointed out in a brief intervention that in the Valencian Community, "we are pioneers in tourism intelligence", which she attributed to "that we unite public and private will in favour of tourism because we firmly believe in this economic activity." The councillor has described tourism as a “blessing for our economy and our society”, in addition to having been “a source of freedom”.
